MN Mama Innovations: One Woman Making Change

MN Mama Innovations LLC (MMI), founded by Kathleen Hustad, is a business with an extraordinary mission of improving the world for future generations, and it all began here in Minneapolis. From its inception in 2020, the major focus for MMI has been Bloom44, a consulting agency prioritizing the growth of healthcare organizations through strategic storytelling, marketing, and business development. However, in early 2025, Kathleen and her business began shifting toward the launch of new products like Stillwaters. This personalized technology solution acts as a prayer companion with a goal of bringing comfort and light to families and communities across the world. And it has done so, with over thousands of people across multiple countless countries and 22+ languages. Kathleen and MMI didn’t stop there. MMI then launched EVRKind Senior Care Nav, a collection of technology tools focused on supporting family caregivers of loved ones on Medicare.

With these various business endeavors and goals for expanding MMI, Kathleen found the MN PROMISE Act at the perfect time. The long‑term goals for MMI include growing into a global venture studio that helps equip people, especially moms and young adults, with the ability to create innovative solutions and foster a creative, collaborative world. Kathleen will use the funding to enhance MMI’s AI assistant, which supports families when access to professional experts is not always feasible or realistic. By expanding the AI assistant, families will be able to receive faster and more accessible guidance.
