Friendly Grocery and Meats: Flavors Close to Home
Friendly Grocery and Meats is a neighborhood grocery store on Rice Street in Saint Paul, near the Minnesota State Capitol. Owner Ibrahim serves the community with Ethiopian, Oromo, and East African groceries, African spices, teff flour, injera ingredients, Ethiopian coffee, fresh halal meat, and everyday essentials, all close to home. Proudly serving the Twin Cities community with high quality products, affordable prices, and friendly service, while also making sure support received is being put back into the community.
Then the MN PROMISE Act Grant came through. It helped Ibrahim invest in his business and make improvements to the store, so he can serve his customers even better.
