Applicant Update: Aug 20th, 2024

Hello friend! 
 
We are reaching out today to update you on where we are in the grant reviewing process. 

First, we want to apologize for an oversight on our part. We make every attempt to send a regular update to all waiting applicants. However, it's come to our attention that due to a technical glitch in the sending process, the email we thought went out Friday, August 9th did not get to you. We are sorry for any anxiety this caused as you wait for news of your grant application. 

Second, we want to inform you of a program update. Due to the overwhelming number of applications, and an increased need for close examination of all documents, we are now adding a Department of Revenue review to verify taxes. This additional due diligence is a necessary step we want to take to help ensure dollars go to legal, eligible businesses. If you progress to the next stage of the reviewing process, you will receive additional information and instructions. 

Finally, while the reviewal process is time consuming, we continue to make progress. We are getting closer to notifying applicants of the award decisions. Please note that these decisions will be going out on a rolling basis in the next week and beyond. As application review and processing happens on an ongoing basis, not all awardees will be notified at the same time.
